The story continues

Regarding energy consumption in swimming pools, our experience shows that the air handling unit is a significant energy consumer. Unfortunately, insufficient knowledge often leads to installations that are not energy-efficient enough. In many cases, the lower price of the air handling unit is considered more important than energy-saving options and controls.

This has led us to consider another product, the swimming pool filter system. This system runs 24/7, and in recent years, many installers have invested in pumps that save energy. However, when using sand and glass filters, a variable pump is a must.

Thanks to our connection with Pown Filter Technics, we are currently developing an upflow filter system that is specifically designed for swimming pools. This system only requires a small pump, and refreshing the filter will only take twice the volume of the filter tank, instead of the 3-4m3 needed for cleaning a sand filter. This also means that the dimension of the wastewater is no longer important. We will provide more news once we have the results from some test pools.

What about Poseidon?

Once upon a time, Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea, had a problem with his underwater palace. The water in his swimming pool was constantly murky and filled with debris, making it difficult for him to enjoy a refreshing swim.

Poseidon tried everything he could think of to clean his pool, from using magic to summon underwater creatures to manually scooping out the debris with his trident. However, nothing seemed to work.

Desperate for a solution, Poseidon consulted with the other gods and goddesses. After much discussion, they suggested he seek out the expertise of the mortals on land.

Poseidon was skeptical, but decided to give it a try. He traveled to the surface and sought out the help of a renowned engineer and inventor named Daedalus. Daedalus listened to Poseidon's problem and set to work on a solution.

After many experiments and prototypes, Daedalus invented a revolutionary new swimming pool filter system that used an upflow filter to efficiently and effectively remove debris and keep the water clean and clear. Poseidon was thrilled with the results and praised Daedalus for his ingenuity.

The news of the new filter system quickly spread throughout the land and soon became a popular and essential feature in swimming pools all around the world. And Poseidon? He continued to enjoy his crystal clear pool thanks to the brilliance of a mortal engineer.

mold under the microscope

Under a microscope, fungi and bacteria can be distinguished based on their size, shape, and cellular structure. Fungi are typically larger than bacteria, with cells that are usually visible to the naked eye. Bacteria, on the other hand, are much smaller and require magnification to be seen clearly.

Fungi cells have a distinctive structure, with a rigid cell wall that surrounds a flexible cell membrane. These cells also contain various organelles, including nuclei, mitochondria, and ribosomes, which are responsible for carrying out cellular processes such as respiration and protein synthesis.
